Monday - Port au Prince Haiti

Today was a good day. It was also a very heartbreaking reminder of why we are doing this work. Meeting a multitude of Gospel Preachers today who suffer from poverty (unlike any of us in the USA have ever seen) really helped me to be reinvigorated to train them how to be self supporting like Paul was in Acts 18:1-3. One man traveled from a small island to our location to hear is teach. What a need there is for our training in agriculture.  One man came and was starving hungry. He hadn't eaten in some time. I was so thankful to be able to give him a peanut butter and Jelly sandwich. I want to give him more though. I want to educate him in how to provide his own food.
We have big plans for our work in Haiti. We are planning to help Manius Viximar, an outstanding Preacher who has converted untold hundreds and over 60 denominational preachers!  We are going to help him construct a greenhouse for growing tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, and strawberries hydroponically. He has a large number of orphans under his care here in Port au Prince as well as having several orphanages around the island. He works day and night proclaiming and teaching.  He needs our help drastically. Tomorrow we will be leaving Port au Prince around 5am and head towards La Victiore to teach a multitude of gospel preachers there to become self sufficient through agriculture. Please pray for our continued success.
